We do not collect any personal information unless visitors choose to become a member or obtain a Library Card. We collect the data required on the Library Card form/s, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

DATA AND SECURITY LOGS
The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. This information is retained for 60 days.

When you submit a form on this website, personal data is stored such as; your IP address, your e-mail, your text of the comment, and any other data you entered into the website form fields. Also, for security reasons and to protect this website from spam, your data will be processed in the CleanTalk Cloud Service and will be stored in log files for up to 45 days. On the expiry of the mentioned period, data is deleted completely. CleanTalk may use information of spam activity of IP/email addresses to offer proper anti-spam protection to all websites connected to its service. This only and exclusively concerns those IP/email addresses that are being used for spam activity.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
A QR code image is generated for users that set up two-factor authentication for this site. This image is generated using an iThemes hosted API. As part of generating this image, your username is sent to the API. This data is not logged. This site is scanned for potential malware and vulnerabilities by the iThemes Site Scanner. We do not send personal information to the scanner; however, the scanner could find personal information posted publicly (such as in comments) during the scan. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you leave a comment, submit personal information via a contact form, or otherwise exchange personal details with us, it is possible that we may use this service to manage that data. This site is part of a network of sites that protect against distributed brute force attacks. To enable this protection, the IP address of visitors attempting to log into the site is shared with a service provided by iThemes.
