Posted Mar 06, ’16 – Remember Something that Makes You Smile

Lama Sing: After you have paused in the morning to prepare for the day ahead as we have suggested (humbly), do one more thing: Pause a few moments to remember something that has made you smile … perhaps a dog happily licking your cheek, the smell of newly opened spring flowers, the certain way youthful clouds sailed across an azure sky, the laughter of a child, the smell of a fresh baked pie in your mother’s oven. Carry that smile with you throughout the day and share it.

At the conclusion of the day, pause to wonder at how many smiles you collected in return, and you will enter your time of sleep greatly lightened by what you gained.
