Crucifixion [1984]

In this reading looks not only at the hope and Jesus Christ the Redeemer in the event itself, but discusses the symbology in the event, and what the event and those symbols mean for humankind today.

Excerpt: “There is yet a light upon the wall, the stone, and the sun giveth forth that light which brings warmth.

“And as those gather to await His passing, it can be seen that great clouds of wonder, of beauty, are quickly gathering, just as though one might see in their presence a legion of angelic host forming in the shape of the clouds.

“And then cometh the Master, the body physical bent beneath the burden which He bears. But in the face and in the eyes there is that unmistakable Light. And as we peer over the others from our vantage point, we see that eternal Light, the joy, and the hope, which has ever been with Him and, even so as we speak, yet can be seen.”
